Both men and women want to add muscle tone to the body for a variety of great reasons like injury prevention, increased basal metabolic rate, athletic performance or just dashing good looks.  Working with me as your personal trainer will ensure your results are sped up with a combination of great weight training, functional training, calisthenics and some small addition or subtraction to your diet.

There are two core elements to adding muscle tone to your body.  One of those elements is overload- the process of asking your muscles to do more work than they normally do (than they are comfortable with doing).  You must utilize resistance training and a complete range of motion to properly achieve this.

The other element that you must have is recovery.  The muscle doesn't grow in the gym; it grows at home, at work and at the dinner table.  Proper nutrition, rest and water intake will be the telling factor in how quickly your muscles recover, grow bigger and grow stronger.
